What is a right?

Posted by Reid on March 6, 2009

Good question, and one that we seem to talk about quite a bit these days … One of my favorite blogs [Gay Patriot] has a great article asking the question about rights.  About marriage being a right? And then moving on to talk about generally what is a right. There is also a link in the post to a an external article that has discussion on Health Care as a right  I have included that link below. I would encourage you to join both discussions.

Is Health Care a Right

My personal belief is that it ceases to be a right when someone else is required to do it. Negotiated interaction is always better and the movement away from this is not good.
